The University of Iowa Facilities Corporation purchased the University Club in December 2008 for use by the University. The Iowa Memorial Union operates the University Club.
Serving the Iowa City area for over 50 years, the UC provides Iowa City and the University of Iowa with an exceptional gathering place for business and social functions. Long noted for its consistently excellent food and attentive service, the Club features a large dining room serving lunch and dinner 5 days a week, Sunday brunch and special gourmet dinners. If your department is planning an event, or your family a special celebration we have a large banquet space accommodating up to 270 and small meeting rooms.
For either size group, our chef will prepare a customized meal fitting your group’s needs. During the summer months the UC is the place to relax with your family. Heat up with a tennis match, and then take a dip in the 6-lane Olympic style pool. The pool is open daily 11am-8pm. Poolside dining is available with a full menu of snacks, sandwiches, salads and kids combos. The UC is adjacent to Finkbine golf course. Easy Access to the course makes the Club a perfect place to add dinner or drinks to a day on the links with a business associate or friend. The UC has full locker room facilities. Members receive a monthly newsletter, so they can be informed of upcoming events and special menus.
